Independence.... what does it truly represent! Is it about hoisting the Indian flag over British, or is it a deeper desire for liberation from colonial power and the dream of building a self-sufficient Indian nation. While political freedom was achieved, the question remains:
have we attained true freedom for the people!?
Is this truly a real tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for a vision of a better India, or have we strayed from their path!?
The major goals of independence included control over resources, fair taxation, democracy, inequality, and effective administration. Yet, under our own governance, these very aspects have, in many ways, deteriorated.
